SUVs vs MPVs

If you’re looking for a comparison of SUVs vs MPVs, then this might help you.

SUVs are Sports Utility Vehicles while MPVs are Multi-Purpose Vehicles. They both are great choices for family vehicles or all-around driving. The reason for their popularity is their capacity to haul items or people. There are, however, a number of differences between them.

SUVs can be driven on rough surfaces and conditions. They’re bigger than normal cars having a much stronger, sporty look with a very easy and comfortable drive.

An SUV’s interior is made up of high-quality materials laying out maximum comfort to the passenger. Great passenger space, due to its larger size, make sure that you won’t feel stuffed with other passengers on long journeys.

The cabin space is large enough to assure you of a comfortable journey. The four-wheel-drive option allows you to off-road on your adventurous journey

On the other hand, MPVs, allow you to shift a larger number of people or luggage from one place to another. They’re great in terms of practicality and can come in handy on adventures, but maneuvering them can prove challenging when compared to SUVs.

SUVs are usually 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, with rear-wheel-drive available on some models. Whereas, MPVs mostly have the front-wheel-drive option, which makes them unsuitable for bad terrains.

In terms of body shape, SUVs tend to be taller and boxier than sedans, offer an elevated seating position, and have more ground clearance than a car. MPVs are relatively short in length, and they usually have a short, aerodynamically shaped hood.
